Happy American Craft Beer Week! Living in the Northeast, we are lucky that there are an increasing number of craft breweries that not only share their wide variety of flavors, but also open their doors to share the process of how the beer is made.
Craft beer has grown in popularity in the past couple years. For those of you questioning what exactly makes a craft beer, here is a little bit of background on the term. The Brewer’s Association defines a craft beer as having small production (less than 6 million barrels per year), independent, and using traditional brewing methods. However it is often up to the one consuming the beer whether or not they consider it a craft offering.
Davidson Brother’s Brewing Company from Glens Falls is one of the local breweries often featured at our six stores with Growler Stations (check out the May Tasting schedule here), and to share their flavors with more of our customers, their American Bright Ale is one of the Summer Signature items. The American Bright Ale is Davidson Brother’s lightest beer, brewed with 100% American Ingredients. The light and refreshing American Bright Ale is available in 12-packs exclusively at Price Chopper, Market 32, and Market Bistro stores*.
American Craft Beer Week 2016 runs from May 16-22 .Please enjoy responsibly.
